Zapne’s 100% All Natural Ingredients. What are they? How do they work so well?

by Alybeth Stumpf January 27, 2016

Hello everyone! We love telling everybody about how Zapne is a proven acne treatment that works fast and is 100% natural. But what are these natural things that work SO well? Are they really better than popular treatments that use chemicals? What exactly are you putting on your skin? Well we are here to shed some light on the matter. In this two-part blog we will go over all of the ingredients in Zapne, tell you what they are, where they came from, and how they are working to treat your acne AND improve your overall skin health!

First off, what does Zapne do exactly?
  • Removes dead skin cells and impurities which clog the pores and cause breakouts, all without the use of harsh AHA’s and BHA’s!
  • Kills the bacteria and microbes that infect the skin and cause acne eruptions
  • Stimulates new cell turnover, which reduces scarring and speeds skins natural healing process
  • Reduces the effects of sun damage to existing skin (another plus from new cell turnover!)
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Retains skins natural moisture (over drying leads to over oil producing)
  • Controls oil production WITHOUT striping your skin with harsh chemicals

Now that we know some of what it can do, how does it do it? That is all in the ingredients!

Fresh Water Sponge Powder (spongilla lacustris)

The fresh water sponge has been used to treat many skin treatments for decades in Russia, Ukraine, and China. Also called the “Needle Sponge” because it works as a microneedle. When applied to the skin the “needles” wipe away dead skin cells and penetrate the pores, improving blood circulation in the skin and promoting the new cell turnover. The added benefit is that while opening the pores it allows the other medications to get into the skin instead of just sitting at the top. While most chemicals strip your skin of its natural defensive layer and moisture to get at the root of the problem, the Fresh water sponge penetrates beneath the surface. Meaning your skin keeps its protection and moisture while healing deep down. The sponge is the secret to seeing results in weeks versus months with competing products.

Organic Aloe Vera

What is the first thing you reach for to soothe and heal a sun burn? Aloe! Found naturally in Northern Africa and used to treat and maintain healthy skin for centuries, Aloe Vera contains amazing antimicrobials, glycopolymannans (polysaccharides), enzymes, vitamins and minerals. These all provide important nutrients that help heal and maintain healthy skin. Aloe is a known vulnerary (it helps heal wounds), which means it speeds the natural healing process in your skin. It even works as an analgesic to help relieve pain, and as many of us know acne pimples can in fact be painful. Being made of 99% water, Aloe Vera keeps your skin hydrated and rejuvenated. This amazing plant helps to repair collagen and elastin in your skin, increasing the elasticity and flexibility. Also helps to soften, soothe and improve the blood flow in the skin by aiding in suppling oxygen to the skins cells

Natural Brown Seaweed

Have you ever seen someone at the spa? Getting the lovely relaxing seaweed wrap all over? That’s because seaweed is just brimming with essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants that helps keep the skin revitalized, moisturized, and youthful. Not only do these elements slow the skins aging process, they also protect the skin against harmful pollutants in our environment. Brown seaweed has been shown to have so many skin loving benefits that it is actually used in many cosmetics and skin care products today. The phytonutrients in our Natural Brown Seaweed elevate blood flow and bring a healthy glow to your face. The British and Irish have for centuries enjoyed Seaweed baths for their therapeutic effects, helping to detoxify and calm the skin.

Natural Sericin

Sericin is a protein that is found in silk, yes like the fabric. Sericin has 18 different types of amino acids and is an excellent protein for the skin. It helps to retain natural moisture by forming a thin film above the skin, protecting it while not feeling greasy or wet. Sericin contains an amino acid called serine, which is effective for controlling the breakdown of the protection of the skins surface. Sericin is gentle on skin and is found in many products since it is an excellent moisturizer, protector and whitening agent. It even helps to reduce freckles, age spots, and other skin discoloring. Serecin is the reason ZAPNE leaves you with silky soft skin!

So as you can see thus far, we are dedicated to using only 100% natural ingredients that have proven to have skin healing properties. We all know someone (or are that someone) who has been affected by Acne, acne scarring, or other undesirable skin problems. Why use chemicals that will in the long run do more damage than good? And suffer all those side effects! Don’t hate your skin, love it and give it the best care and it will love you back. As you can probably tell by seeing what the ingredients can do, Zapne can be used for more than just the treatment of acne. Give it a try and see for yourself. You can feel the difference after just one use. Look for our next blog with the rest of our skin loving ingredients next week!
